In a world where beauty waits for no one and technology is redefining the limits of possibility each day, the medical-aesthetics sector stands at the forefront of a true renewal. Clinics are pushing boundaries, patients demand excellence, and only a rare technological elite can keep pace with this accelerated transformation. In Canada, major cities like Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver can already boast some of the most sophisticated clinics in the world—refined sanctuaries where innovation is a defining promise. For these exceptional institutions, the race for the most advanced equipment is non-negotiable. It is within this high-end competitive landscape that Cynosure Lutronic emerges as a pioneering global leader, bringing Canadian clinics the most powerful medical-aesthetic technologies in the world.

The Canadian Market: A Landscape of High Expectations

The Canadian medical-aesthetics market is experiencing remarkable growth. The size of the aesthetic devices segment in Canada is expected to surpass USD 1.13 billion by 2030, with a projected compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 6.7% between 2023 and 2033. In the non-invasive treatments sector, it already accounted for USD 3.58 billion in 2023 and is expected to reach nearly USD 8.47 billion by 2030, reflecting a striking growth rate of 13%.

This vitality reflects a shift in mindset: Canadians are adopting a proactive approach to wellness, with beauty becoming an integral part of overall health. Clients are now discerning, well-informed, and seeking fast, natural, and safe results. To meet these expectations, clinics must invest in cutting-edge devices that deliver precision, performance, and profitability—criteria in which Cynosure Lutronic has excelled for over three decades.

Breakthrough Technologies: Lasers, Radiofrequency, and Smart Platforms

In the era of technological convergence, a clinic’s strength is measured by its ability to offer personalized and combined treatments. Multimodal platforms—integrating lasers, radiofrequency (RF), fractional RF, and ultrasound—have now become the standard. These technologies allow multiple layers of the skin to be targeted, stimulate collagen production, and achieve visible tightening, all without prolonged social downtime.

Among the most notable innovations is the XERF™ RF System, an exclusive technology developed by Cynosure Lutronic. Designed for Structural Skin Tightening, this next-generation radiofrequency device works deep within the skin to reshape its structure and restore firmness, all while ensuring maximum comfort. It perfectly meets the growing demand for non-surgical treatments with natural-looking results—procedures highly sought after by an active, modern clientele attentive to their appearance.

From Invasive Treatments to Hybrid Approaches

While non-invasive treatments drive market growth, deeper procedures still hold a prominent place, particularly in body contouring and intensive rejuvenation. Cynosure Lutronic has earned an international reputation by offering highly advanced solutions that span the full aesthetic spectrum—from dermatologic lasers to integrated energy platforms.

Its expertise is built on a delicate balance of clinical performance, safety, and technological elegance—values that resonate naturally with Canada’s most discerning clinics. This comprehensive vision positions Cynosure Lutronic as a true strategic partner, supporting professionals in their growth and differentiation within an increasingly competitive market.

A Global Alliance of American Innovation and Korean Expertise

Founded in the United States in 1991, Cynosure joined Lutronic, a South Korean company pioneering in the research and development of precision medical lasers, in 2023. Together, they now form Cynosure Lutronic, an international entity that combines American scientific innovation with Korean technological expertise.

This unique synergy propels the group to the forefront of global medical aesthetics and enables Canadian clinics to access solutions renowned for their reliability and effectiveness.

In this rapidly expanding landscape, Jean-François St-Amour, Head of Development for Eastern Canada, embodies the brand’s vision and local presence. A true ambassador for Cynosure Lutronic, he supports clinics in Quebec and neighboring provinces with their expansion projects, investment strategies, and the implementation of tailored protocols.

Alongside him, Jean-Philippe Campeau, Jordan Beaulieu, and Aidan Richard, dedicated Cynosure Lutronic representatives, maintain a constant on-the-ground presence, supporting clinics in their technology acquisition and optimization efforts. Their expertise helps establish a genuine relationship of trust with professionals, combining attentiveness, responsiveness, and high performance.

In addition, Véronica and Tanya, practice development consultants, support clinics after technology installation by providing strategic guidance focused on training, profitability, and growth. Their mission: to turn each technology into a sustainable driver of clinical and commercial success.

Together, this team perfectly embodies Cynosure Lutronic’s commitment: a blend of expertise, innovation, and local presence dedicated to supporting Canadian medical-aesthetic professionals.

It was during an exclusive evening in November that the launch of the non-invasive skin-firming technology XERF took place at the Four Seasons Hotel Montreal. More than 80 distinguished guests gathered in a warm and elegant atmosphere, with champagne and refined hors d’oeuvres, for an event presented by Cynosure Lutronic, Clinique Antiaging, and LUXE Magazine.

This evening provided the perfect setting to discover the future of skin firming, where expertise, technology, and refinement come together.

With XERF, Cynosure Lutronic is introducing a new generation of luxury aesthetic treatments to the Canadian market, now available in specialized clinics such as Clinique Antiaging.

Among the speakers of the evening, Dr. Cynthia Stolovitz, founder and medical director of Clinique Antiaging, shared her expertise, while Jean-François St-Amour, Eastern Canada Director at Cynosure Lutronic, and Nathan Strom, Sales Director for Canada, presented Cynosure Lutronic’s vision and innovation as a global leader in medical-aesthetic technologies.

XERF: the future of skin tightening

Now available in North America through Cynosure Lutronic and its network of partner clinics, XERF is a multi-frequency monopolar radiofrequency device that is redefining skin rejuvenation. Non-invasive, it works deeply to reshape the skin’s structure, restore firmness, and deliver visible, lasting results—all while ensuring patient comfort.

An evening that brilliantly combined luxury, innovation, and beauty, marking a milestone for high-end aesthetic treatments in Canada.

At the helm of the Anti Aging Clinic, Dr. Cynthia Stolovitz practices aesthetic medicine with a holistic approach, where health is the true foundation of beauty. Far from standardized procedures, she offers a vision that combines mastery of the best technologies with deeply human guidance.

Dr. Stolovitz, you are recognized for your holistic approach. How would you define the mission of your clinic today?

Our mission is to help our patients feel good in their own skin, no matter their age. Our goal is to treat the whole person by providing personalized care that goes beyond appearance. We work from the inside out to reveal and preserve a vitality that is intimately connected to each individual’s well-being.

You emphasize preventive and personalized medicine. How does this vision differ from traditional aesthetic medicine?

Traditional aesthetic medicine has long focused on one-time interventions. My approach is longitudinal; by monitoring my patients and their overall health, the need to reactively fix issues is minimized. Our intention is more regenerative than corrective: rather than simply filling a wrinkle, for example, we reactivate internal mechanisms by stimulating collagen production. We nourish the cells to achieve natural, lasting results that respect the authenticity of each face.

Your clinic stands out for its integration of the most advanced technologies. How do you select the technologies that become part of your protocols?

Our process is rigorous and focused on proven quality. There is nothing in the clinic that my team and I haven’t personally tested. Our standards are higher than market trends. We conduct our own testing to determine what is truly effective and safe, always aligning our choices with what we would want for ourselves.

You’ve just introduced Cynosure’s XERF technology. What convinced you to add this innovation to your treatments?

The arrival of XERF was truly a matter of perfect timing. We were looking for a cutting-edge solution for darker and sun-exposed skin. This led us to acquire Cynosure’s LaseMD ULTRA for its ability to safely resurface all skin phototypes. With this expertise in place, Cynosure offered us the opportunity to be among the first to test XERF as it entered the Canadian market. Developed in South Korea after seven years of research, this technology turned out to be a real breakthrough. We tested it for two months, and the results were so compelling that both our team and our patients embraced it unanimously.

What sets XERF apart from other technologies, both scientifically and in terms of the results observed?

XERF is based on monopolar radiofrequency, a technology that has been recognized for over twenty years, which it elevates to new heights. Its energy penetrates deeply down to the SMAS, the muscle targeted during a facelift, delivering a remarkable lifting effect without ever being invasive. Its major innovation lies in a high-performance cooling system that ensures optimal comfort, even while heating tissues at depth.

Who is XERF intended for, and what results can your patients expect?

XERF offers benefits for everyone. For younger skin, it is an exceptional preventive treatment. From the forties onward, it helps preserve youthful vitality, and for those in their fifties and beyond, it provides corrective potential that can delay the need for invasive procedures. The results are clear: the skin is lifted and firmed, facial features look refreshed, and the jawline is redefined—all without downtime or side effects.

You address both the physical and psychological aspects of aging. How does the technology support this vision?

Technology is a tool in service of an intention. Changing one detail can trigger something much deeper: it’s the act of taking time for oneself, of doing something good for oneself. When our patients see themselves in a more positive light, their energy and confidence are renewed. This is how mastering the best technologies can tangibly improve their lives.

In your view, what are the new priorities for men and women when it comes to aesthetics and health?

The priority has shifted from correction to preservation. People no longer want to look “done,” but to feel good in their own skin, appearing rested and healthy. The aspiration is for authenticity and bringing out the best version of oneself. The goal is to age gracefully, maintaining one’s radiance for as long as possible.

Between cutting-edge technology and a holistic approach, your practice seems to strike a balance. What is the key to providing an experience that is both scientific and deeply human?

It all starts with listening. We get to know our patients and build close, trusting relationships with them. The human aspect of our approach, along with safety and efficacy, will always be our priorities. Our expertise allows us to deliver excellence, but the relationship we cultivate is the true heart of our practice.

Finally, what message would you like to convey to the readers of LUXE Magazine about the importance of investing in one’s health, appearance, and well-being?

Investing in your well-being is neither a luxury nor vanity. It is the choice to give yourself what you need to face the world. How we feel inside shows on the outside, and it changes how others perceive us. It is an investment in our whole being. Aging gracefully, feeling aligned with the image we present, is the most beautiful gift we can give ourselves.
