ALIANÇA UNDERGROUND MUSEUM

MUSEU NACIONAL GRÃO VASCO

The cathedral is home to a collection of sacred art and an important collection of 19th and 20th century Portuguese paintings. Closed Mondays.

PRAIA DA TOCHA

Guardians of traditional arte-xávega artisanal fishing, also called “trawl fishing,” since the 19th century. In the past, fishers took to the sea with their nets, which were then dragged to earth by the strength of men and bulls. Then, they were spread out on the sand and the fish extracted. Admire these fishers as they repair their nets.
